This celebration was unique to me for the fact that it was my first traditional Persian wedding.
It was a pleasure capturing all the traditions such as the beautiful and elaborate Sofreh-ye spread which is a table containing a variety of edibles and artifacts all of which tie together to symbolize health, love and good-fortune for the couple, the Mirror of fate (Aayeneh-ye Bakht) which represents the bride and groom and brightness in their future, and the cup of honey to sweeten life. Immediately after the couple is married they each dip one pinky finger in the cup of honey and feed it to the other one.
Sep and Saba looked amazing in their wedding attire along with their guests!
A truly perfect day for this wonderful couple!
